Assassin's Creed: Embers is a 2011 animated short film based on the popular video game franchise Assassin's Creed. It serves as a conclusion to the story of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations, who has also featured in several other works. The film was released on 15 November 2011, alongside several special editions of Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

The film follows Ezio in his final days, as he lives a peaceful life with his wife Sofia and his children in Tuscany. However, his tranquility is disturbed by the arrival of a mysterious Chinese Assassin named Shao Jun, who seeks his guidance and wisdom. Ezio tells her his story and teaches her the key to liberating her people from the tyranny of the Zhengde Emperor. Along the way, they face danger from the Emperor's agents, who are hunting down Shao Jun. The film ends with Ezio's death in Florence, as he passes on his legacy to Shao Jun and his family.

The film was created and produced by UbiWorkshop, an internal division of Ubisoft that specializes in creating transmedia content for the Assassin's Creed series. The film was directed by Laurent Bernier and Ghislain Ouellet, and written by Darby McDevitt. The film features the voice of Roger Craig Smith as Ezio, Angela Galuppo as Sofia, Anna Tuveri as Shao Jun, and Peter Arpesella as Giovanni Auditore. The film also features the music of Jesper Kyd, who composed the original soundtrack for the Assassin's Creed games.

The film received positive reviews from critics and fans alike, who praised its animation, story, voice acting, and emotional impact. The film was also nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Animated Program or Series in 2012. The film is available in 15 languages, either through voice dub or subtitles.
