MEP Modeler Archicad 16 3006
The MEP Modeler is an add-on to Archicad that allows users to create and edit 3D MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) systems and coordinate them within the Archicad virtual building. The MEP Modeler uses a familiar interface and tools integrated right in the Archicad environment. This add-on is included from Archicad 24, but it was also available for previous versions of Archicad, such as Archicad 16.
The MEP Modeler for Archicad 16 was released in 2012 and had the version number 3006. It was compatible with the following Archicad 16 language versions: International (INT), New Zealand (NZE), American, Deutsch (GER), Austrian (AUT), Australian, Italian, French, Finnish, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Chinese and Taiwanese. The MEP Modeler for Archicad 16 required a valid Archicad 16, Archicad 16 TRIAL or Archicad 16 DEMO installation on the user's computer. It also required Java 6 to run the installer/uninstaller.

The MEP Modeler for Archicad 16 enabled users to create and edit ductwork, pipework and cabling elements using parametric MEP objects and custom profiles. Users could also import MEP elements from IFC models and export them back to IFC after editing. The MEP Modeler for Archicad 16 provided automatic collision detection and resolution tools to ensure the coordination of MEP systems with the architectural design. Users could also generate schedules and reports of MEP elements and export them to Excel or other formats.
The MEP Modeler for Archicad 16 was a useful tool for architects and engineers who wanted to integrate MEP design into their BIM workflow. It offered a seamless connection between Archicad and MEP applications, such as AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP. It also enhanced the collaboration and communication between different disciplines involved in the building design process.
